CBDistillery is well-known for their CBD oil tinctures as these are some of the company’s best-selling products. We decided to give one a try and review the 2,500 mg Full Spectrum CBDrop tincture. Frankly, it might be the best tincture we’ve ever tried for anxiety and stress. We experienced a noticeable sense of well-being and calm, along with increased energy, improved sleep, and even moderate pain relief. Coupled with CBDistillery’s low prices, these full spectrum tinctures are the ideal combination of cost and effectiveness.

CBDistillery CBDrop Full Spectrum Tincture Review
Our team reviewed the 2,500 mg option of CBDistillery’s full spectrum tinctures.
CBDistillery offers five different concentrations (250 mg – 5,000 mg) of their full spectrum oil, along with a line of THC-free oil.
We review CBD tinctures by the quality of their hemp content, CBD concentration, product packaging, ingredients, flavor and scent, value, and effectiveness.
Let’s start with the quality of the hemp extract in CBDistillery’s tinctures.

CBDistillery sources its hemp from primarily Oregon, Kentucky, and Colorado.
Both the hemp and the soil it is grown in undergo several quality assurance tests before the hemp is harvested.
After harvest, CBDistillery either uses CO2 or ethanol to extract the cannabinoids and terpenes from the plant material. In the case of its full spectrum products, CBDistillery uses CO2.
CO2 is widely considered the cleanest and safest solvent for extraction purposes.
Once a product is created, each batch goes to a third-party lab for testing. The results of these tests are available directly on CBDistillery’s website for customers to view.
“We wanted to set the standard of what transparency looks like …. For that reason, we were one of, if not the very first company to actually publish third-party test results right on our website,” said Ellese McKenney, the VP of Marketing at CBDistillery.
CBDistillery also operates according to current Good Manufacturing Practice standards and possesses an ISO 9001 certification.
The 2,500 mg full spectrum tincture contains 1 oz (30 ml) of hemp oil, which comes out to an astounding 83.3 mg/serving (30 servings).
According to the certificate of analysis, our specific tincture came closer to 85 mg/serving.
Most tinctures don’t come close to this concentration per 1 oz bottle, as brands usually cap their 1 oz bottles at around 1,000 mg – 1,500 mg.
CBDistillery doesn’t even stop at 2,500 mg, offering a stronger option of 5,000 mg (166.6 mg/serving).
The fact that CBDistillery carries these concentrations indicates they’re not selling gimmicks; instead, they sincerely want to provide the best possible CBD products to their customers.
The full spectrum oil comes in a clear glass bottle with a black, child-proof dropper cap.
This dropper doesn’t have any measurement markings on it, so it’s tough to know exactly how much oil you’re taking. We found that about 3/4 up the dropper is around 1 ml (1 ml = 1 serving).
CBDistillery graces the bottle with an attractive, silver and green label.
This label contains supplement facts, suggested use information, and a QR code.
The QR code allows customers to access a product’s third-party batch results.
Fractionated Coconut Oil (MCT oil) is the only other ingredient in the product.
Used as a carrier oil, MCT enhances the body’s ability to absorb CBD, while also having health benefits of its own.
Research indicates MCT oil may help reduce the risk of heart disease, control blood sugar levels, use fat for energy, and promote weight loss.
Here is the ingredients list for the tincture:

Flavor and Scent
The oil has a pungent hemp aroma and equally strong hemp taste.
Although it was a little hard to swallow at first, after taking the tincture a few times, the taste didn’t bother us.
While it may not be the most pleasant experience, at least you’ll know—without a doubt—that you’re getting a hemp product.
CBDistillery has some of the best prices in the CBD industry, and this statement holds true for all of the full spectrum tinctures, especially the 2,500 mg option.
The 2,500 mg tincture costs $155.00, which clocks in at an incredible $0.06/mg.
Most tinctures range from $0.08 – $0.15 mg/serving, but there are outliers both low and high.
CBDistillery’s 2,500 full spectrum tincture is certainly an outlier in the market, but it’s not an isolated event at CBDistillery.
Several more of the company’s products are priced below the norm, but not for lack of quality.
“We are not a company that is out there just to make a quick buck off this exploding industry, we truly care about the people using CBD,” said McKenney. “We have since day one, with our founders recognizing there was this opportunity to provide fairly priced products to people who truly needed these supplements.”
It’s this kind of pricing that helped make CBDistillery the number one online retailer of hemp-derived CBD products in 2018.
We reviewed the full spectrum tincture on its ability to relieve anxiety and stress, boost energy, reduce inflammation, alleviate pain, improve sleep quality, and provide an overall sense of well-being.
Typically, we took two dropperfuls of the tincture in the morning and evening. Occasionally, we would take more during the afternoon.
Taking the oil on an empty stomach seemed more efficacious.
The onset took about 30 minutes to an hour while the effects lasted around 5-6 hours.
Anxiety and Stress
Our team found a marked relief of stress and anxiety, which elevated our mood and allowed us to relax throughout our day.
The effects were so noticeable that friends and family picked up on our more positive attitude and mindset.
Overall, we felt a profound sense of well-being and believe this is the tincture’s most efficacious benefit.
Especially in the morning, the tincture gave us a moderate boost of energy to help start our day.
The oil effectively erased morning grogginess, helping us feel more productive earlier in the day.
Another dose of CBD during the afternoon provided only a mild energy boost, but enough so we could avoid the 3 pm crash and finish our day’s work.
We used the tincture to see if it would help with the symptoms of chronic digestive issues likely caused or influenced in part by inflammation.
Unfortunately, we only observed minimal benefits.
Members of our team exercise regularly and must cope with sore muscles.
To test the oil’s effects on pain, we took three dropperfuls the day after exercising when soreness had set in.
The pain dulled for a few hours and seemed to speed up our overall recovery time.
On nights that we took the tincture, we slept through the night more regularly and woke up feeling more refreshed.
Some evenings we purposefully did not take it to see if anything would change.
On those nights, we did not feel as tired and ready for bed, which made falling asleep more difficult.
As a result, we woke up more during the night and didn’t seem as refreshed in the morning.
We could not be much happier with CBDistillery’s 2,500 mg Full Spectrum CBD Tincture.
Made from high-quality hemp, created with transparency and purity at its heart, filled with potential health benefits, and offered at some of the industry’s lowest prices, CBDistillery has an elite product.
Considering this level of excellence, CBDistillery’s full spectrum CBD tincture is highly recommended by our team.
