Having tried these gummies for ourselves as part of our comprehensive Five CBD Review, we found this claim to be more than justified.

Concentration

The Daily Buzz Five CBD gummies contain 66mg of full-spectrum hemp extract per piece, including CBD (at least 50mg) and the following cannabinoids:

• Cannabidivarin (CBDV)
• Cannabichromene (CBC)
• Cannabinol (CBN)
• Cannabigerol (CBG)
• Delta-8 and Delta-9 Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)

According to a certificate of analysis (COA) we consulted for a batch of the Daily Buzz Five CBD Gummies, each piece contained 59.1mg of CBD, 5.6mg of THC (including delta-8 and delta-9), and a total of 2.4mg of the four other cannabinoids.  

Notice the >5mg of THC per gummy; we believe this was a key driver of the success we had with this product, as Five founder JP Larsen agrees.

Each bottle contains 30 gummies, totaling 1500mg of CBD.

Value

Five charges $59.99 for their 30-count bottle of 50mg Daily Buzz gummies, which reduces to $0.04/mg of CBD.

This price was low enough to oust Panacea, now second place, as the cheapest CBD gummy—at least among brands that we trust. 

Considering the formulation strength and quality, the fact that the gummies have settled on this price point may trip some red flags at first.

Rest assured, the Five founder explained to us that the brand’s low-overhead, direct-to-consumer model allows them to slash expenses so that they can pass the savings on to the consumer. 

Plus, the precedent-breaking 50mg concentration helps to keep the per-milligram price low. 

Packaging

Like the other Five CBD Gummies, the Daily Buzz gummies come in a matte white bottle with a screw-on lid.

The packaging is durable and opaque (to preserve product), and makes accessing the gummies quick and easy.

The label provides an ingredients list, supplement facts, recommended use, and various warnings (children, breastfeeding/pregnant mothers, not FDA approved).

However, we’d also like to see QR codes for COA access on the packaging as well as a brief description of the product.

Ingredients

In addition to the hemp extract itemized above, the Daily Buzz Five CBD Gummies contain glucose syrup, sugar, water, pectin, citric acid, natural flavors and colors, vegetable oil, and carnauba wax.

Flavor and Texture

It was no surprise that the sugar-frosted gummies were sweet and tasty, but we were especially impressed with how effectively the flavoring concealed the hemp taste, considering the concentration.

We also appreciate the choice to go with straight glucose over high fructose corn syrup or other artificial sweeteners, a difference reflected in the pleasant (versus syrupy and artificial) taste.

Every gummy we sampled was uniformly soft and chewy, just like any other candy gummy. 

Effectiveness

This is where these gummies really shine.

Since the first use, we noticed dramatic improvements in stress, mood, and for one of our testers, noise sensitivity.

This product perfectly models what a powerful, full-spectrum CBD product should do—it “buzzes” almost imperceptibly in the background when things are calm, but when adversity inevitably strikes, you feel more equipped to handle it.
